Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do when using GGameHost services. It is part of our Terms of Service. We may update it as needed. Breaching this AUP can lead to suspension or termination without refund, and, where appropriate, reports to law enforcement.

1. Prohibited content and activity

You must not use the Services to host, store, transmit or link to:

• Any content that is illegal under applicable law.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this carries zero tolerance and is reported to the authorities.
• Content that infringes intellectual-property rights, including pirated games, software or media. You must hold the licences required to run any game or mod on your server.
• Malware, viruses, ransomware, botnet command-and-control, phishing kits or other malicious code.
• Content that is defamatory, harassing, or that incites violence or hatred.

2. Network abuse

You must not use the Services to launch or participate in:

• Denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, port scanning, packet flooding or any attempt to disrupt other networks or hosts.
• Unauthorised access attempts, exploitation of vulnerabilities, or interception of traffic.
• "Booter", "stresser", DDoS-for-hire or similar attack services.
• Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or operation of open mail relays or proxies for abuse.

3. Resource use and fair sharing

Shared infrastructure is exactly that — shared. You must not run workloads that unfairly degrade service for other customers, including sustained abuse of CPU, memory, disk I/O or network beyond your plan's intended game-hosting purpose. Cryptocurrency mining and unrelated commercial workloads are not permitted on game-hosting plans. We may throttle, suspend or require an upgrade for accounts that impact platform stability.

4. Game-related rules

You may not use a GGameHost server to attack, cheat against or disrupt third-party game services or other players' servers, to distribute cheats or game piracy, or to violate a game publisher's terms. You are responsible for the conduct of administrators and players on your server.

5. Reselling

You may not resell, sublicense or share the Services with third parties unless you have a reseller arrangement with us in writing.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that breach this AUP, with or without notice depending on severity. Where there is a risk to our network or other customers, we may act immediately. Accounts terminated for AUP breaches are not eligible for refunds.

7. Reporting abuse

To report a violation originating from our network, contact [email protected] with as much detail as possible (IP address, timestamps with time zone, and logs). We take abuse reports seriously and respond promptly.
