How to Install a Forge Modpack Server

Running a modpack server is the best way to play packs like All the Mods, RLCraft or Better MC with friends. Here is how to install a Forge (or NeoForge/Fabric) modpack on your Minecraft server.

The easy way: one-click install

The manual way

1. Download the pack's server files from CurseForge (not the client zip).
2. Upload them to your server via the file manager or FTP.

Match the client version

Every player must run the same modpack and version from the same launcher. A mismatch is the number-one cause of "failed to connect" errors.
